ALL THAT ZAZZ

Ciao bella,

My husband David and I decided to check out the new spa in town, Emerge, sister spa to G2O, formerly Guiliano's, all on fabulous Newbury Street.

We were transported to this other world as soon as we entered their door with the soothing, tinkling sounds of a wall fountain.

We were greeted with welcoming smiles and an intensely inviting waiting area. While we sipped our beverages, flipped through mags, and feasted our eyes on a Tracy Reese fashion show on their flat screen the best was yet to come.

I asked for the "Best of Boston" pedicurist Maura Hudson. She was absolutely delightful. Her magic fingers made my tootsies so smooth and fantastic. The service was impeccable. After our chatting we had a lot in common. As a complimented Maura I expressed how much I'd also like to party with her.

Then after my drying time, Christina, Emerge's very own personalized reservationist, gave us a tour of the rest of the spa's territory.

The men's club rooms offered hot lathered shaves and a huge array of fab body massages and baths.

Emerge also has on staff two plastic surgeons who can help with all your nick and tuck issues.

Their roof deck floor was a serene area with a soon-to-be smoothie bar and a built-in fireplace surrounded by comfortable chairs.

A glass door opens to a roof garden of chaise lounges and umbrella'd tables and chairs. The piped in tranquil music while we sat and sipped truly made us feel like we were some place extraordinary. So relax after your services and feel like you've just reached heaven.

Buona giornata and God bless the United States of America!
